With Mother’s Day right around the corner, it’s time to plan a day to make your mamma feel special. You can certainly go out and spend a lot of money on a fancy meal, a massage, or a trip. But most moms don’t need anything extravagant. They just want to feel special, appreciated and be with their children.

How about cooking a delicious meal for her so she doesn’t have to lift a finger? And pairing lovely, yet easy to drink rosé wines with the meal. This can be all whipped up pretty quickly, but your mom will think you spent all day cooking away! Your secret’s safe with us.

Appetizers:  Prosciutto Wrapped Melon & “Tipsy Mix for Blush & Rosé Wines”

A perfect starter for the pasta dish ahead. Simply slice wedges of melon (cantaloupe works best) and wrap thin slices of prosciutto around it.  Serve it on a pretty platter with a healthy handful of Tipsy Mix for Blush and Rosé Wines in a ramekin in the center of the platter. Both go supremely well with rosé wines. The juicy melon matches the juicy fruit notes in the rosé. And the Tipsy Mix was specifically blended to include elements that will knock your socks off with a rosé wine. Things like hazelnuts, dried red cherries, and raspberry powder-coated raisins to match the cherry and raspberry notes common in rosé.

Entrée: Pasta with a Creamy Lemon Sauce

Who doesn’t love the comfort of a bowl of creamy pasta? Rosé wine is a great contrast to this dish, as most rosés are crisp and refreshing and can act as a palate cleaner to a richer, creamy pasta. Feel free to add a protein as well. Shrimp and chicken would work best. Here  are a few recipe ideas:
