What is a Medium-Bodied Red Wine?
Since a light-bodied red wine has an Alcohol by Volume (ABV) that is less than 12.5%, then a medium-bodied red wine has an ABV of 12.5 to 13.5%. It is typically berry forward, has medium acidity, and has fewer tannins than a full-bodied red wine.
